I took yesterday off to celebrate Zoe's birthday. We woke up late, cuddled and played most of the day. It was perfect. Even the Disney Channel must've known it was her birthday because they played her favorite Mickey Mouse episode. When she realized it, she squealed and started dancing.
We went to dinner at Grandma's house. Of course she made Zoe's favorite. Chicken nuggets, green beans and rice. Then she even got a HUGE piece of chocolate cake. To say it was a perfect day is putting it mildly!
It was a perfect day for me too. For months I've been trying to get her hair into a ponytail. Her hair has a mind all its own. There is even a large cowlick in the back that make any kind of style difficult.
However yesterday I was successful. She looked adorable.
And more like a toddler than I have ever noticed.
